Plain-language privacy note

Privacy without the fog.

This page explains what happens when you send RightWhere a message. It does not try to turn one contact form into twenty pages of legal theater.

Effective July 26, 2026

01

What I collect

When you use the contact form, I collect the details you choose to send: your name, business name, email, phone number, town, what you are interested in, and your message.

The server also receives ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address and browser headers. I use a short-lived IP-based limit to reduce form abuse.

02

Why I use it

I use contact information to read your request, reply, understand whether RightWhere is a fit, prevent abuse, and keep a basic record of the business conversation.

I do not sell contact information or turn a website inquiry into a marketing list for another business.

03

Who helps deliver it

Form messages may pass through Resend, the email delivery provider, and through a private backup notification service when one is configured. Those providers process the message only to deliver it to me.

This site does not currently use advertising trackers, behavioral profiles, or a customer account system.

04

How long I keep it

I keep legitimate business inquiries only as long as they remain useful for the conversation, ordinary business records, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. You can ask me to correct or delete an inquiry unless I need to retain it for one of those reasons.

05

Optional features and external links

A future optional interactive feature may need its own rules and privacy notice if it collects photos, entries, or other participant information. The fictional example on this site does not accept submissions.

Links to maps, directories, or other services are governed by those services once you leave this site.

06

Your choices

You may ask what contact information I hold, request a correction, or request deletion by emailing ray@getrightwhere.com. You can always contact me directly instead of using the web form.

Privacy question?

Email ray@getrightwhere.com and the message goes directly to Ray.
