- Who owns the site?
- You do. The domain is registered in your name, the words and photos are yours, and Ray keeps a full export of the site that you can take with you at any time.
- What happens after the first year?
- You choose Hosted at $99 a year or Managed at $49 a month. Both are month-to-month or year-to-year with no contract. If you choose neither, Ray hands you the export and points the domain wherever you like.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, any time, by email. Care ends at the close of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is charged after that and the site stays yours.
- Is there a contract?
- A one-page agreement that says what you get, what it costs and who owns what. No twelve-month term, no auto-renewing setup fee.
- What counts as a small change under care?
- New hours, a holiday closing, a price, a paragraph, swapping a photo. A new page or a redesign is quoted separately, and quoted before any work starts.
- Why does Managed cost more than Hosted?
- Because it is more work. Managed keeps four listings accurate, watches uptime and speed, drafts replies to reviews and writes you a monthly report. Hosted keeps the site up and takes small changes.
